Truck bed
I recently purchased a 1977 ford f250 and when I bought it it was equipped with a dump bed. I have sold that bed and now my truck is sitting in my yard with just a cab on a frame. I need an 8 foot pickup bed (not a camper special) and I could use some help to find a bed. Can someone point me in the right direction?

I am sure in Connecticut they have a Craigslist, like we do in the rest of the world. lol
Have you looked in the Market Place/Ford Truck Parts for sale forum on here?
Then post a WTB add in the Want to Buy/ Parts and Other section.
Also have you joined your local FTE state chapter? Get to know your local folks and I am sure you can find a bed in your area.
Spend some time cruising around the complete forum list, FYI your chapter link is way at the bottom of the list.

Keep in mind you might have to buy a complete truck to get a good bed? Might be lucky to find a good bed on a truck with a blown motor or trans or a wrecked front end. Which ='s cheaper, use what you need and part the rest on here.

Dude, I sold those slots two months ago, some guy drove over from Priest River and snatched em up the first day I listed em.....
You snooze you loose, I never promised to hold em for infinity.

i did tell you id buy them before june. i saw slots on the spokane craigslist a few times but every time i call thay are already sold 
if you come across another set let me know ok

I found a "local" set of slots here ALUMINUM SLOTS call the guy and get the details and if you're interested I can pick them up for you the weekend of Aug. 3-4 (I was going to Missoula that weekend anyway).
i tried callin the guy 3 times but cant get an answer so i left a messege. ill let you know what i find out
