Looking at renting a 12 passenger transit for an upcoming vacation. What kind of mileage can I expect out it with about 1100 lbs passenger weight and a weeks worth of luggage for 7 people? They are mighty proud of them, and if it can not manage decent mileage, I might be better off going a different route.

 

I get an average of 14.5 mpg.

 

Thanks for the feedback. I ended up going with a large SUV, so either an Expedition EL or suburban. Substantially cheaper.
