What do you guys like for Bed Rails? I am buying a Magnum Headache Rack, however their rails are priced a little crazy in my opinion. Also, I want something that will work with a 20" crossover toolbox. Thanks.
Have this kind on my '04 gmc. They need a stake pocket, but you can cut the stainless tubing to whatever length you need. might be able to figure an attatchment to the tool box on one end. Sorry for the bad pics, i didnt take them to show the rails.

Yeah, I may just stick with the factory plastic or swap them out for some flat diamond plate caps. The bed is tall enough already without adding a couple extra inches to try and get stuff in and out over. If not for the extended running boards I don’t think I’d be able to reach into the tool box!

I like the idea of rails for the ability to tie to, also I like the looks. Even though I'm about six feet tall, I don't see myself lifting anything over the side, certainly not until the newness wears off quite a bit. I was hoping there would be something simple, in black that would go from the tool box to the rear.....
Go Rhino has universal rails that come with or without stake pocket attachment, or a combination thereof. Based on price vs. other rails, I suspect the construction may not be top quality, but my truck stays inside when not in use. When I go out to the barn I will measure to see if I want 48" with rear stake pockets, or 67.5" with no stake pockets for my 8' bed with 20" crossover tool box and Magnum Headache rack.
I still haven't found an off the shelf bed rail configuration that works with a rack and tool box. If somebody has information, I would appreciate it. Thanks very much.
