I have a 1986 F350 4x4 with the 351 Windsor and 24,000 miles. I replaced the the old style valve covers and upon doing so several of the green connectors for the vacuum lines broke. I would imagine that the specific ones I broke work the choke. Is there a map anywhere that would show how these should be configured? I'm stumped and now my former perfectly running truck hates me.
Also, anyone know the max tire height that will fit on a 1986 F350 4x4?
You are all wonderful and thanks for the help in advance.
Thanks again that information really helped. I appreciate you taking the time to shoot that over. It took a couple of hours to square it away this weekend but it seems to be running smoothly. Fords 2,000,000 acronyms and the multiple vacuum setups for different options didn't make it easy. My no ac, manual, 351, 4x4, weighted had its own vacuum setups.
Any ideas if 35-12.50x16 will fit on my stock rims and will they clear? The F350 sits awful high and my 31" tires look very small.
Glad you got the vac lines straightened out. As far as wheels I would start a new thread about them for some expert help. Good luck and nice truck. Sandy
