I agree. Your truck has the inch and a half blocks in the rear. If you decide it squats in the rear too much you can buy the 3.5 inch F-350 blocks and u-bolts and make it sit 2" higher very cheap.
Jeff,
Install the leveling kit, drive the truck for one week, look over your stance, If at that it is still nose up you can do a quick fix with the 3.5 blocks. If you want check your blocks now and repost what size are on your truck.
It was my understanding that the Off Road package came with the 3.5" blocks but I have found them on others without this package.
I have the Off Road package and heavy duty rear spring package. It has 2" blocks (checked it 3 times) with 5 leafs and a 1 helper. Make any sense? I think the springs in the front have dropped about 1" since the truck was new. There is a Manik bushbar but no wench on it.
Then my friend you are in business, Install the leveling kit, good for 2.5" to start with about 1" to drop over time and you should be level and looking good!!!!! and you can always put the 3.5 blocks in the rear if it doesn;t sag enough, Cool
If you are going to run 33/12.5 tires and would like to retain the stock spring rate my vote is still for a leveling kit that uses a hanger and shackle, run Bilstein 5100 shocks that are valved specifically for the SD, and swap out to an F-350 block in the rear.
Since you would still have the stock springs but will better shocks you're truck would ride better than your stock truck with stock shocks.
I will properly install it next month. I have to wait about 2 weeks for it to come in. Someone told me that the back will lower faster when loaded but I do not see how. I do not think it will effect the actual weight it can handle.
