My 2003 F250 super duty will not start. It cranks but will not start. the rear running lights are on (never noticed that before). When I am cranking to try and start if I apply the brake peddle it stops cranking. I checked all the fuses and all seams ok. None of the fuses when removed would not turn off the rear running lights.

I hope someone has an idea what else to do.

 

Did you have a lot of rain recently?
You might have gotten some water in the fuse panel.

 

What engine do you have?

And do the lights turn off if you remove the key? If not, hook up a charger or disconnect your battery (or plural, depending on engine).

 

rear running lights or brake lights. Do the lights go out when you press the pedal? sounds like a brake switch problem
