I've been pretty lucky with my stock Ford turbo. Is the Stage 1 a performance upgrade, considered more reliable or? I'd like to hear some feedback on your experience... Just in case I someday find myself needing one.

Hi Tim, here are the specs on it. Waiting on new tunes to take full advantage of it, sounds great with 10 blade!

Well, I managed to unlock the tool box that's built into the bed of my truck.

My son found his set of lock picks. I figured it was going to take me a while (if I had to survive on my lock-picking skills, I'd have starved to death by now) and I was right. Things go a lot better, however, once I decided to try and turn the lock cylinder the correct direction. I'd been trying to lock it further... where it don' go no mo'.

Lock is picked, and I've removed the latch from the door. Now it's a matter of taking it to the locksmith to have them come up with a set of new keys to work it

That leaves only one more... the padlock that's on the chain securing the spare tire. I can probably use the bolt cutters on that if I have to.

Happy Monday Nor Cal. Another beautiful, if not cold, day here in the arm pit of California.

Hi Tim, got updated tunes loaded yesterday and this thing pulls like a freight train from 3000-4200 rpm. Very little lag and no smoke at all. EGTs lowered 100-150. Sounds really good at full boost. They gave me a new race tune as well, but it just gets silly on the hot tunes.

I see you have a turbo back 4" exhaust. Did you notice your EGT lowering much with just that? Is the difference you're seeing a combination of both turbo and exhaust or just the turbo?... Sorry man, I'm looking at my next mod being exhaust and I was hoping to get what I need in cooler EGT with only turbo back. I'm running custom tunes from gearhead and studded. Usually only use my two tow tunes 8K tow for general use and unlimited while towing my 12K fifth wheel. Not much need for the SRL, for me anyway. I've been backing off the accelerator when EGT gets too much over 1200* but it would be nice to not have to back off as much. Thanks

To be honest Tim, 4" maybe dropped EGTs 50* at WOT. It wasn't what I was expecting, turbo dropped it for the most part....I was spiking 1500* on my MPD tune, but only for 5 seconds at most. I did notice a faster spool up with only exhaust

I did not go outside yesterday so I don't know how hot or cold it was, but I know it was nowhere near 75 degrees. They are claiming it will reach a high of 60 here today. Still, a beautiful sunny day though.

Got up early this morning to watch the super blue blood moon. Kind of fun. It did not get as dark as I expected. Will post pictures if they come out.

Hello guys had Ankle surgery Monday , so I’m down , been getting better at getting up on one leg and moving with the old school walker, then I realized I brought home my dads walker with the wheels , brakes and a seat,, much easier now , when I’m up I just rest the knee on the seat and wheel around, the hospital gave me crutches but I’ve never used crutches and not suppose to put any pressure on the ankle.
Glad your Turbo works great Joe .
Missed the blue moon glue guy , being heavily medicated , the last two moons I did see were full , oh and so did half the hospital lol, I really hate the gowns hospitals make you put on , how the hell is a guy suppose to tie those up
