Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Made it home from the Coast. Mother had a grand time. After touring the Aquarium, we took a look at pleasure boats and boat ramp at South Beach harbor/boat basin. Coast Guard had the bar lights lit up. 13 to 14 foot multi directional waves at the tips and the River / Bar was closed to all recreational / pleasure watercraft at Buoy 7. Went out on the South Jetty and looked at some really big waves and a couple of large net draggers coming in across the bar. It was really gnarly and nasty out there.
Then we went "downtown" and checked out the commercial fleet, visited with the Sea Lions on the docks next to the Underseas Garden and then went by the Haunted Lighthouse.
Then it was off to Nana's Irish Pub for some authentic old world Irish food.
These fellows were not a part of any show or demonstration. They were just speeding around the tank acting like show offs.
Corned beef, red skinned potatoes, root vegetable (Irish Carrots), cabbage and parsley sauce & coffee of course.

Morning All. Short week for me have to have a small operation which will put me out three day. No real progress on the Princess Palace since I was up at my moms Fri and Sat. helping her. Had a good Lightning storm last night with one striking close enough it made the satellite box reboot, messed the thermostat up and a few clocks. All on one side of the house everything else was fine (small EMP hit).

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. 47.3, wet, no sun in the forecast and it says there is a 70% chance of rain.
Heading out to the farm to look at the game cameras and check the woods for deer.

Morning all. The rut seems to be on. Had a spike in the back yard Saturday morning with a couple of does. Same spike I've seen on my cameras. We came across a nice fork in the middle of the pavement on our way up the hill into the Trask Unit yesterday. That was a good sign. I was hoping the gates were open and they were so I could get to the area I like. We got to the spot and walked up in there and had a chance at a super nice 3pt but alas I couldn't get shot off. Guess it's tag soup for us... Fishing and hunting is done for me so guess it's time to hibernate.
Good luck to those that can get out the rest of the week.

Good evening Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Long day, still looking for the buck.
Hey Rich, maybe that spike in the back yard can grow a fork real quick. Haven't had a buck on my camera's for about 4 days now.
Had a bald eagle sitting on a power pole out by the farm this morning. Didn't seem to be bothered by me getting close enough to take a picture. He was either sizing me up for breakfast or just insulting me for disturbing him. It was still a little dark and all I had with me was my flip phone camera. I left my good camera at home this morning.
