Morning all. Trees got watered and decided to work on the boat. What do you do when it's a bit toasty outside and you have no shop....
I also lounged in the pool, several times when I got to hot. Jump in pool, cool off, and back to rigging. About 90% done with a half day parts run to West Marine in Portland.thrown in there.
Jim, if you ever need a nice pass-through through the transom, This is pretty nice set up...

Good morning Oregon and everyone everywhere else. Still a couple of bills to get out this morning before we can leave and I'm about to go on the propane run.
You running controls for the kicker? That looks pretty good Rich. I'll have to keep that in mind.
As it currently stands, if I drill a hole in the boat, the Warden may string me up. I thought she was going to have a coronary, stroke, conniption fit and a complete mental break down, all at the same time, when I mounted the kicker bracket on "her" boat. I was safe running the rigging for both sonars as I was able to back pull and strip existing cables out and use the same runs. Used the silver tear drops on those so it looked better when I got finished than it did when I started.
Since my sister has the shop, the Machine Shed and the barn completely full, (can't even get to the table saw) I've developed a system with a 10 X 10 or a 12 X 12 dining canopy I can put up. The 12X12 is going camping with us this week since we decided to leave the big bug screened 12X24 at home.

HAHA... I pulled out the 1-1/2" hole saw bit, made sure I was good with location, and in 15 sec....one big hole! I was going to use the teardrop things but the hoses are a little too big for those. Wasn't really sure what I was going to do until I stumbled across this part.
I'm installing a TR-1 Gold Auto Pilot. I've had it in the box for 3 years. Life got in the way of a new boat build, then got a different boat that I then sold, and now have the current jetboat. Figured this is probably the last boat I'll have so it was time to get it done before salmon season. Gotta give some props to Portland Marine Electronics since they were kind enough to trade me the Yamaha parts for the Honda parts. I'll finish up this install this week and head to some body of water to get is calibrated. Then I'll be ready for some serious fishing time...
Have a good trip Jim!
