Quick question on dis cap

I have a 1990 Ford F-150 with a 302 EFI in it, is this right that the rotation of the dis cap go in a counter clock wise direction? If not what does that mean?

Its not actually the cap that moves. Its the rotor inside the cap, and yes it moves counter-clockwise.
