They definitely had their chances. I won't be watching the title game either. Honestly, when Alabama got in without even playing for a conference title, it soured me to the point of not caring at all.

Agree. I think that's the only way you get around the issues that we saw this year.
BTW - your new coach went out with a bang I see. Unbeaten year and all.

That is the one thing I really like about Frost - he handled that situation the right way and it seems like his players have a lot of respect for him. I really think this is a good move for Nebraska.

Happy New Year, Gang! Back to the grind, as they say! A cold grind that is....
The Super proved it's meddle in Erie this weekend, & it is scheduled to go under the knife on the 15th to fix the battle scars from that trip to Buffalo. It's also scheduled to get rust-proofed, under-coated & a spray-in bedliner in early February. Now I just need to find a permanent fix for that d*** instrument panel!
I found a pair of stainless N-fabs for $150 just because the previous owner "upgraded" to AMP Research powered boards. They're only cab length, but I can't argue with the price. I just have to convince the wife that a good deal is a good reason to spend more money!
As for the college football discussion, the fact that UCF showed up against Auburn proves that they were legit & deserved to be in the playoffs. I wish the NCAA would just do what is right instead of what is most profitable. It's not like they're going to lose money.

Morning Craig, Jason! I don't think you'll ever see a Group of 5 team in the playoff, the commission will see to that. A big reason Frost is coming to Nebraska, or would have gone to another Power 5 job, if Nebraska hadn't be available.

It seems anymore that most big-time sports is down to $$$. NCAA stands to make bigger money if Power 5 conferences get the playoff spots rather than the "Group of 5" teams. I think UCF could have given any of the playoff contenders a run for their money, and dare I say beaten them. But we'll never find that out.

Morning Jason, Bill, Steve, Pat, Craig, John, Bud, Ken, Jim, Chris, and anyone that I missed.
I was pulling for UCF to win their game the other day and am glad that they went 13-0. That is a nice send off for Frost and his coaching staff.

Morning Neil.
I think UCF going unbeaten, especially finishing it against the SEC on a neutral field, says a lot about their program, their coaching, and the quality of players they have. No matter who wins next Monday, they'll be the only unbeaten in the country...

Pat did I hear correctly that Frost is bringing the entire coaching staff from UCF with him to Nebraska?? I thought that I heard it during the broadcast the other day.
