Hey, if you leave them up all year, you'll be ready for next Christmas...lol. That was always the worst part of putting lights up outside - and why I don't anymore...taking them down during the giant bowl of winter suck.

Morning folks and happy Friday. Waiting on a ride to work since the diesel won't stay running for more than a few minutes. Not sure if I have gelled fuel or something else going on. Bowl looks ok as does the filter. Real feel is -26 at the moment.

Morning PA and friends... Bill, that 7.3 will start running better once the temp gets back to a reasonable plus 25-35*. What are ya using for additive?

Morning Neil. I just think it's a gelling issue in the line to the engine. It turns over strong, and like I said I even had it running for about 2-3 minutes. I dumped a bunch of Howes diesel treatment in earlier this week in full tanks of fuel, but nothing likes it when it feels like -20 and -30...

I saw that and hopefully that is all that is wrong. We do not have to worry about the fire trucks gelling because they are inside and we keep the truck room at 65* Once they are started in the fire hall they are to be kept running until they are back inside.

It's days like this that I wish my garage were a whole lot bigger. But, Sunday's to be in the 20s and Monday warmer yet, so, just gotta survive tonight/tomorrow...

It would make it nice to be able to park in a garage at night during the cold weather. In your case, it would give you more room to work on your fleet and not be relying on the weather to cooperate.
