I was wondering if someone could tell me what my axle codes mean.
My front axle code is "D21OG", I have no idea what that means.
My rear axle code is "H9" which I think is limited slip, 3.55.
Thanks,
Kevin
Where did that front code come from? If it's in the Bronco and you haven't swapped it, it's a 3.54 Dana 44-F. H9 is a 3.55 ratio, 8.8" LS unit from the factory.
Thanks,
When I was working on the tailgate of my Bronco I had to fold up the carpet and it had a paper their that lists EVERYTHING about my Bronco and that code was listed for the front Axle.
Yes it is in my Bronco, How good are the Dana 44's and what does the "F" stand for??
It had two codes for my Rear axle, "H9" and "817P" I knew what the "H9" meant(that code is listed on my door) but I did not know what the "817P"(rear) or "D21OG"(Front) was.
