Hi all, I'm about to install a rebuilt E4OD 91' to my actual F150 1986, Iwant to know wich are normal pressures for this trany and the procedure to doit, my experience is on AOD tranny only.
Did you do a search and look around?
We need to know something first. What kind of engine is in your 86' f150? Im no expert on this. But your torque converter and flex plate will have to have the same bolt patern for it to even bolt up. Do you have the kick down linkage for the new 91' trans? You also have to worry about transmission to trans tunnel clearance, trans cross member, drive shaft length. For a pressure number, the new trans will operate at what ever pressure it wants to I guess. If it was rebuilt to stock. Hope this helps.
