What exactly do I have?
Merry Christmas everyone! I just picked up this morning for 200 bucks this F150! I know it’s kind of rough, and need some work, but it should be a fun 4x4 complement to my 82 F100 2WD project. My problem is the guy told me it is an 84, but the title says 81. As I looked under the hood I could tell it had been repainted, but it appears that hood is the original. With the letters on the front, I’m assuming that it really is an 81. Also, the tag in the door jam is missing since it was painted as well. Is there someone who could help me Decode the vin from the title? The VIN is 1FTDF14F9BRA17785 Thanks in advance!

I might, it just depends on what I might do with it. I already ordered a report. It may end up just being an off-roader. Not sure though, it is hard to find SWB 4x4’s from that time......
