Reverse flush the front heater core?

HA HA! I took it to my mechanic and he did it! True story.
Actually, I BEGAN to do this myself in -10º weather; and, while I did get one of the lines disconnected, the other line (the return, if I remember correctly) was just positioned too closely to the wall for me to disconnect it without a tool. At least, my fingers were beginning to get bloodied up. So, that day I thought to myself that this was one fight I didn't want to fight....
