I have it installed already and the dash is all buttoned up as of now. I can give you dimensions of the filter and where to get them. As for installation, the filter wasn't cut in any way and doesn't restrict airflow that I can notice once installed.
Any chance we can see a pic of that filter installed from a bit further away to see what it looks like?

Mine looks the same way.
So far, no loss of air circulation after multiple hours of repeated use on a/c.
As for winter issues, you could take out the filter element rather easily I suppose.
In the few days I have had the Cab Fresh filter installed there has already seen a noticeable reduction of dust inside the cab. It does a good job of reducing smells coming in from outside too. I was unaware of the smells surrounding me until I wound the window down. Thanks @bsiliani for finding this excellent product.
