HUGE leak!!

Its 10 degrees outside so i haven't started looking, but i'm wondering if there are any common leak points on the driver side of the HPOP? 1995 7.3 always seems to mark her territory like my old Harley, but this leak is pretty bad, leaving a sizable spot just from morning warm up. Wondering if someone has a spot i should target first before my hands are too cold to function? This is only my 2nd post here, so I'm sorry if there is a ton of threads I haven't been able to find!

The oil rail drain plugs are a good place to start. There is one at each end of both heads. Google "7.3 oil rail drain plug" and to see where you need to look closer.

Also if it's coming from down lower it may be the oil cooler which tend to leak more when it is colder as the seals get harder in the cold.

Wish you luck.

My guess is the oil cooler O-Rings due to the cold weather.

Depending on what side its leaking from could many spots. Check the oil cooler first since its more common then look at the oil dip stick adapter ans see if its not from there.

Thanks to all. The plugs on the heads seem a likely culprit since its leaking front and rear on the driver side. Now I just gotta get up the stones to go out in the damn cold!! I'll update once I get to the source. Thanks again

I'd check the oil cooler first. They can also leak front and rear.

The oil cooler is more likely. There is a cap with o rings on the driver side front and rear. It’s pretty easy to spot if you lay under the truck

Just a little hi-jack;

What makes a 94 not so easy? I own a 94 and haven’t had an issue yet but I would like to be prepared!

on a 94 you have to jack up one side of the motor because the fuel lines are in the way. They changed the location after 94.

^^ I did not have to do this on my 94. Just had to wiggle and turn a bit to get it out and in.
