electrical problem e450 2000 6.8l
I am new to this so if im in the wrong place let me know
I have an e450 super duty 6.8l v10 year 2000 the fuel gauge was not working so i replaced the pump/gauge in tank i noticed a pin bent back on thejoint so i straightened it to fit its female connection it was attached to a red wire
my gauge is working fine now but i cannot turn off the engine i turn of the power with the key remove the key but the truck keeps running
i suspect that i have a wiring problem/ignition problem which is keeping a feed on the ignition wire whilst the altenator is running anyone had this problem before and where do i start looking
