Chrome window trim
I have a KR, it is the painted to match edition so I don't have chrome bumpers/wheels/mirrors, but it still has chrome trim on the window seals and I absolutely hate it. Have any of you changed yours out for the standard black pieces, I'm curious what those parts cost?
I'm not opposed to painting the pieces, but in my past experiences, you must chemically etch them first in order to get a good bond for the paint and even then it doesn't quite match up . I know it would be easy to have them vinyl wrapped, but I fear that won't hold up over time. I am assuming they just pop out if pried upon?

I know they pop off and can be replaced or painted. Not sure on the price of the factory ones but I had mine wrapped. I had mirror caps, window trim, side step trim, door handles and the little chrome piece on the tailgate handle area wrapped for 350 bucks. If I ever have any problems with them I will replace with the factory painted pieces but for now the wrap looks good and is holding up fine.
