OEM fits and functions best. Many of the eBay or auto part store mirrors will have fit and vibration issues.

The type of mirrors you will need will depend mostly on what type of trailer you will be pulling and the rear visibility. If you get the Ford factory towing mirrors you won't need to worry about not being able to see behind you.

And get the Power Tow Mirrors that fold in and telescope out from inside the cab. PITA to get out all the time to manually swing them in and out when needed.

While I have OEM tow mirrors and they are manual telescope and fold I don’t have issues towing. This is The only time I need to telescope them. Yes, it would be nice to have the auto fold and telescope, but nit at the price they cost. Had tow mirrors on my last truck as well. Never had issues parking because I don’t park my truck in a spot that requires folding. If the doors that tight, I’m moving.

I have the suppo mirrors, no complaints from me. I pull them out when i check the air pressure in my tires before towing so it's not a big deal to not have the power telescoping mirrors.

EDIT*

After a year, i would not recommend or rebuy these mirrors. The chrome cap started to pit after about 8 months and now just over a year the mirror glass is starting to vibrate a lot over bumps. Plus the passenger side mirror folds in with no effort so it moves on the highway. Manufacturer's response about the chrome was "they are quite old." So looks like im looking for new mirrors again, honestly i might just put the stock ones back on and use clip ons.

That's awesome! Was there any electrical programming or anything you had to do or was it just plug and play and everything work fine?

Mirror replacement

Depending on the year of course, YouTube has replacement videos for taking off standard mirrors and adding tow mirrors.
My 2011 was a bit more difficult as with that model you had to remove the entire door panel but still took only about 10 minutes a side once you knew what you were doing. This video is for a newer model 2016 XLT and they noted higher trim levels might be slightly different.
