I have heard from some posts where they call out potential flood issues with trucks from Texas. Anything in regards to trucks from Oklahoma to be aware of?

I went through Harvey, live right by one of the reservoirs... 6' of water in my house for two weeks! My F150 had water about 4" up the windshield, yes, entire cab submerged. I can attest to you, that easily 800-1M vehicles flooded. Be VERY weary buying anything used from the Houston area for a while. I certainly would not buy without hands on inspection.
Check our vehicle registrations on the windshield for the county printed upon it. Harris is where we were hit the worst, Fort Bend also. Brazoria some. I have some registered in Tarrant that are in Harris, so it is not a guarantee. But I am sure this is a slim majority of folks.
Flood vehicles are pretty easy to spot if you look real hard. Typically interior colors are off. There is dirt in areas it should not be. A funky odor you cannot place. The dirt residue is hard to describe, if you need to know I can post a picture of my truck and the crap left after the water drained.
