P0345, p0349 after cam phasers replacement
Hello guys, I recently replaced my cam phasers to get rid of the knocking noise on my 2008 ford f250 5.4L with 150k miles, when I removed the passengers side phaser the small pin in the sprocket in the back was broken.
When I was ready to install the new phasers I encounter one little problem, the small pin in the sprocket in the back of the phasers was not aligning perfectly with the hole in the camshaft and I had to move the new phasers one teeth down of my markings ( moving the timing ) to get the pin align with the hole in the camshaft. This was done on both sides.
Now with the new phasers, truck starts, drives but kinda of rough, a little stalling and trows p0345, p0349 codes. Also after 10 mins of driving it gives me the low oil pressure warning light (after truck its warm/hot), but it goes off and on.
My question is, do you think timing is the issue? and if so, can I go back and try to move the phasers back to original timing?, or any other ideas would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes camshatft was in the neutral position and time chain was wedge-locked with the small cheese piece. The only thing I did was to skip one teeth on both sides to be able to insert the pin in the back of the phasers so it could align with the hole in the shaft.
I think is timing too, do you think I can just go back and try to move the phasers to the original marking ( I know i just have to move one teeth up)? thanks

Found it, thanks. I have decided to do the entire timing (chains, tensioners, etc) do I need to flush the radiator? how hard is this procedure, I have found several videos online and I think I can do it. I know I have to remove the valve covers , tensioners, radiator etc. Any tips, resources haighly appreciated, thanks.
