Spark plug gap??
I use 0.60 with Pertronix and a Mallory coil. The rest of the ignition is all Ford, Plugs are autolite 45s. May go back to 45 and see if that makes any difference.

Spark plug gap??
You want the biggest gap that your ignition system will support. For a coil/points setup it's around .035, for production electronic ingition (such as duraspark I&II) it's around .045, and for hot aftermarket setups like MSD it's typically around .055-.060.
