Went ahead and gutted it. I do care about my Bronco but I can't turn back the rust....so when it gets too bad she'll be put down. But still I couldn't believe how bad it was under the vinyl and the insulation. So I think I gained a few more years out of this move. Yes all of the insulation was WET.
After further review since all of the weatherstripping is shot water has been leaking in for years and years. And with the vinyl flooring and insulation I never saw it.

I can see one of the original problems right on your tail gate.
Cracked window sweeps allow rain water to POUR into the doors and it is virtually impossible to stop it from finding its way to the vehicle interior at that point.
