Hello I have a f350 460 engine that has been stalling on the highway on me. It dies and then 45 mins later starts right back up. Initially I switched out the ignition coil out and checked wiring. After same thing happening. I then noticed temperature rising I did a radiator flush. My coolant chamber was still getting extremely hot and all hoses leading out of the thermostat were hot. I switched out the thermostat sealed everything back up and notice a leak on back side of the housing. In process of getting the housing off I broke the dual Ported Vacuum switch. I am curious where to go about purchasing one of these? Is a f150 vacuum switch different from a f350? Also is there a possible way to rig it and make it work without having to purchase the part? And if anyone has any other advice or troubleshooting options it would be greatly appreciated!
You will have to get the part number off of it and see if you can do a search on the internet to find it. Some open on temperature rise, some close. And they have different temps when they open and close. Another Ford truck may indeed have the same vacuum switch, but you have to check the numbers to make sure.
If you wanted to explore options for doing something different, you will have to look at your vacuum diagram sticker and figure out what it does and what it controls. Then decide what your options are. Some things can be eliminated or bypassed, but there are always consequences in doing so. Ford put that stuff on there for a reason, you have to decide if the reason is serious enough for you to keep it hooked up.

There are TEN different types of these puppies.
They are color coded (examples: black/white, yellow/white and etc) and have an ID engineering number on them (examples: D9TA-GA, E3AE-BA and etc).
Thank you for your help and responses! After researching I found out the part number is E928 the black one. I have part on order and it will be here in a few days.
I'll have to inspect the water pump and get back to you on that question. Same thing with pulling radiator cap.
I do not have heat inside the cab when I turn heater on no.
I was losing coolant with the original thermostat housing on, however since I have replaced the thermostat and housing unit itself.
Yes the stalling problem is due to extreme temperatures which are causing something to fail as it gets overheated.
Thank you for your reply and will try some of the things you have listed for me.
