2005 Excursion - Internal Unlock Switch

So, I thought this would be an easy fix. Especially once I inspected my existing Door lock switch (Driver's side) and found that it was rattling inside. So I purchased a new switch and installed and I still have the same issue...

Whats the issue? Well, I can lock the doors from the inside... but the unlock doesn't do anything... no action on the actuators (Any of them) nor any sound other than my frustration as I have to climb across the seats to unlock the passenger side doors...

Doors will also lock by pressing the last two numbers on the keypad... (havent gotten around to getting the unlock codes for that yet...)

Any advice as to what I should be looking for to get this working again?
