Truck is a 93 with a 95 351w gone old school... EFI gone carb put on.. I know tons of people say why, but to many issues to say why.... My question is the in tank fuel pump is high pressure right? Can that be disconnected and an inline electric pump installed would that work or would it not pick up the fuel? Looking to not spend 270 dollars on a EFI to carb regulator... Any and all help would be greatly appreciated..

It won't work, pumps are lousy at sucking but great at pushing.

Where are you shopping? First one I found in a web search(Holley) was $70.

All I saw when I searched for EFI to carb regulator is one for over 250. I did find a few others but Didn't say it would work or not.... Will and regulator for carb work? With the existing pump? Thanks
You need what is called a bypass regulator because it's not just about the pressure, the factory EFI fuel delivery system moves a lot of volume so you have to keep and use the return line to the tank.

Did a search but come up with all sorts of things. abit over welming. The one I see most is https://www.summitracing.com/parts/aei-13220 Is this the only one or can you recommend one that will work that is less expensive? Have everything else to finish the project but this... Thanks for all your help

The front efi tanks are taller than the carb tanks, which means you could technically swap for carb units but lose capacity, but I believe the rear tanks are the same (wouldn't bet ya money on that). I'd try to retain the efi sending unit but replace the pump only for the low pressure unit, which would allow you to retain the proper pickup down in the low sump of the tank, but all this is moot when there is an easier option that is proven to work.
I did the same thing
pull the pump assembly out of the tank
Open the housing up
Pull the physical pump out
Replace it with copper pipe (will need to adjust the length a bit)
Make sure the pipe is not all the way up as there is a cross over port
Drill out the valve (it takes full pressure to push open)
re instal and run pump wires to your new external pump.
