So this recently has gotten worse, I'm assuming because of the drop in temperature around here recently. The creaking is coming from the center dash around the radio and a/c controls. It is extremely annoying and should not be like this in a $70k + vehicle. It was tolerable before but now I hear it over my radio.
Is anyone else dealing with this issue? If so has anyone been able to quiet it down?
Dip stick tubes rattling on each other, hood hinge lube, door hinge lube. Door striker lube, or even the E tape trick.
You'd be startled how often those can echo into the truck. Check the easy stuff 1st. Most of the dash creaks I've had were from plastic heating up and cooling off, and eventually go away.
It's definitely the plastic dash and whatever is behind it. When I press on it and push firmly you hear the same noise. It's almost as if it is not secured tight enough and creaks with the bumps in the road.
On mine it was the Cup Holder tray on the bottom of the center console. I swore it was coming from the center of the dash. Took the cup holder out and noise is gone.
Mine does the same thing, although I noticed it more this summer than I have since it cooled down. On mine, it seemed linked to what I think are the HVAC ducts running down the sides of the console as it would creak for a few minutes after starting and driving until the truck had cooled a bit.
If I press on the dash just under the brake controller where it meets the center console, I could get the creaking to stop. I haven't tried yet to put a piece of padding or velcro in that gap.

Yes, this is exactly what is happening with my truck. Ok cool, I'm going to see if there is a way to put some padding like you mentioned to quiet it down.
I used some screen spline and wedged it between the edges of the dash and console. It helped immensely, but there is still a sound I haven't tracked down.
Why can't ford build a truck without rattles? Sure toyota/nissan trucks have their issues but at least the interiors don't rattle at less then 10k miles.
