gooseneck hitch recommendations

Still trying to navigate my way through this forum and I posted this on the hitches board, but thought it might be more appropriate here.

We sold the old truck yesterday so now I need to put a gooseneck hitch in the bed of my 250. I rarely use the gooseneck trailer, so I'd like to go with the hitch that rolls over to make the bed flat. Any advice or suggestions, and please add pictures of yours. Thanks!

Oh, it's a horse trailer if it matters.

What matters is the year of your truck! We need to know if you have the new bed with the pucks in it or did you install a set of bars.

I have the ford factory in my 2013 and use the reeese ball that you can remove. Leaving a clean bed and the ball won't rust either.

The ford puck system is really good.

B&W has been the gold standard in GN's for a long time. I love mine. #1116 fits 2wd. #1117 fits 4x4.

Blue Ox now has a gooseball system that leaves the bed clean. Instead of fumbling for a lever in the wheel well, you simply remove the ball from the hole and invert it for storage.

B&W Turnover, ball is not installed, if it were not being used it would be stowed ball side down in the square hole you see keeping the bed flat.

If using the turnover style put some Anti-seize Lubricant on the inside part. After leaving it in for the winter it was pita trying to get out. Had to get underneth with a bar and hammer to break it free.

I leave my B&W ball in the toolbox of the truck. Problem getting it out that way

Then you add a Blue Ox Super Ride, BW Companion or Andersen Ultimate.

Use one of their fifth wheel hitches, or the b&w adapter they offer or the fifth wheel rail adapter they offer
