This bronco sat on craigslist for a month, at $5000, probably because it won't pass smog, the ad finally expired. Next month, during tax return time, I will see if the guy still has it and hopefully work a deal with him. If this didnt need to be smogged, it would probably be around $10k?
This truck was on craigslist in November, again the ad expired. I may hit him up later too.
Think of all the extra $$ you would have not have-in to deal with the stupid smog regulations! A truck like that should not even need smog control they are OLD! In my state there in NONE whatsoever. I run my 73 f 250 with dual glass packs no Cats and NO Anything Not even the fuel evap system. Just a 390 with a Edelbrock 4BBL carb.
Here is an example of a nice 1975 4x4. And again, it does not have to be smogged, and the price at $8500 reflects that. For $6000 difference, I would choose the 1976, that has to be smogged, just me. I may get to a point that I am tired with the hoops and buy a 73-75, but for now I like saving money on the smoggable year trucks.

What kinda issues with moving to Cali with a 79 f250 with a 95 12V Cummins swapped in? I'm starting to look out there, but if I can't bring my truck I'm gonna have to reconsider.

This is a good question since the vehicle you are bringing in requires smog, but the engine you are using did not require smog. Normally, if you bring in a vehicle, it must have the FEDERAL smog equipment that was for that year. Since you swapped in a 95 diesel, then you will need all the smog equipment made for a 95. This is something that will have to looked into.
