1996 Bronco wheels and tires with no lift.
Like the title states, Does or has anyone run 33 inch diameter tires on 8.5 inch wide by 17 diameter wheel? With no lift?
I need to buy tires (my tires are 11 years old and leaking through cracks). I want to get larger tires, but I donʻt have time to lift the Bronco.
Could I run 33 inch tires for a short time? The Bronco is a daily driver and I would have to squeeze lifting it in between my many jobs and projects.

my bronco had 33s on it when i first got it (no lift)
not only did it just plain look cheap, the tires would rub the frame before getting to full lock on the steering
i guess it can be done with the proper backspacing, but it will still look cheap
(even without the added weight of the plow, it just didnt look right)

What I did, for now.
Getting parts here is hard to do for older trucks. 15x10s were in stock along with ProComp ATs in 31x10.50.
These were pricey too, tires, wheels, mounting and new lug nuts were $1275.00.
I needed new tires ASAP because the truck is my daily driver, I plan to lift it soon and get it all aligned so these tires can last 11 years too!
