I haven't stuck my head in the door in a while, but did want to wish all my FTE friends a Very Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays if you prefer, but Best to U.

Yup!! Thanks, M.R., I agree....and a little rain here in Cali wouldn't hurt. Hope everyone is well this season. I would like to thank all here on FTE for advice that has helped move my project along and, specifically to John W. whose advice to get a '74 (or later) for all the power steering, power discs and stuff was the best advice I decided to listen to. Ended up with a foot actuated brake, good C6 and good 390 out of the transfer as well. Thanks again!

Merry Christmas John! Restoring my truck had to take a back seat to higher priorities, but when I do get it back on the road I still plan on a road trip to stop by and see your slick and hopefully many others.
