I have a 1995 F-350, XLT, crew cab dually. I have heard that the headlights can be cleaned from the inside of the light. Mine is getting dull and dingy looking inside. Is this true, and is it applicable to all those styles of lights, (factory), Thanks
I've never heard of cleaning them from the inside. But it's a simple process of wet sanding and then spraying them with a clear gloss on the outside. Plenty of Youtube videos on how to do it. Cheap, easy, and it helps a lot. I did my tailights too.
The other thing that will increase the output of the headlights is to add a wiring kit with relays and run the power directly off the battery. If you're handy with electrical stuff it's fairly simple to make one yourself. Lot's of threads on here on how to wire them up. You can also get a premade wiring harness from one of the sponsors of this site, Bronco Graveyard. It's well made and has served me well.
Wet sanding and new clear along with the wiring harness finally made me able to see at night when it rained.
