They have a both 'Buy it Now' price - and auction listings. Very odd.
Interesting that the application information is inconsistent. Text would seem to correctly identify as used on '48-50s, but the application shows 51/52s. Again, odd.
Looks 48-50 to me. Shipping is a killer! But I'll bet they crate them. (I would hope)
Wow! If the starting bid price of $1425 wasn't so outrageous then it might be worth the 2.5 hr drive to Springfield and save the $225 each shipping cost.
Wow! If the starting bid price of $1425 wasn't so outrageous then it might be worth the 2.5 hr drive to Springfield and save the $225 each shipping cost. For two fenders that is $2850! That is more than I paid for my whole truck.
I think the price is for the pair. I can have mine fixed for $600 and I know they fit. I still want to try it myself though and is what I plan on doing.
I personally think this is a strange way to market this fenders. As far I see he's only selling a pair of upper fenders. I am fairly certain these have to be fenders that Dennis Carpenter is producing. Someone posted earlier this year that Carpenter had new steel fenders for both the Monkey Faces and the Manure Spreaders. I wonder why he doesn't a complete for each side in separate auctions. If a person needs a top part of the fender chances are really good he'd need the bottoms. Also, I think it would be likely a person may only need one fender, but both upper and lower.
