So I recently ordered a Helm manual and wanted to put it on a usb drive but I don't have a config.ini file to edit. Hoping that one of you can help out with where to start. below is a list of the files on the disk.
I copied the files to a usb and tried to run the setup file but as expected it is looking for a cd drive with the disk.
The new manual for my ‘24 is on a USB stick. I’d love to be able to open the manual on my computer without having to plug the USB in every time. I did the trick above for my old CD manual, but I ain’t smart enough with computers for this

If you're on windows and it's just pdf files, this is a clear and simple set of directions you can follow.

Thanks, but that's too easy. There is some kind of security feature that looks for the USB stick before it will open the files.
Keeps people from buying it, downloading it, then returning it or selling it off to the next person...or selling copies to multiple people. I'm sure some computer nerds can dig into it and do it, but not the average Joe.
OK, update as I got this to work. I didn't realize the manual had to be installed first and then the .ini file is available to be edited.
First I copied all the files from the disk to my hard drive and then I installed from the disk. I then found the .ini file in the TSO folder. I made the changes as noted above in post #15 above and everything works as expected without the disk.
