I have a sparkplug that has blown out. But it was fixed once befor. With a time sert, insert. So now that it has blown out I can't rethread it with the proper size, is there a larger insert to go to. Or just a bigger plug. Lol
Even though your problem is with a v8, try posting in the v10 forum. A lot more traffic and people that have dealt with the same problem. Fix should be the same with any 2v mod motor.
It is EXTREMELY unlikely that a Timsert insert would have come out unless it wasn't installed properly.
The procedure is identical for the V8 or the V10 so the forum section isn't important.
Yes, there are larger size inserts available to salvage a blown repair, but it's critical that 1) the blown insert be properly identified and 2) the hole size must be evaluated to see if sufficient material remains for an over-the-fender repair.
Start by posting a photo (or a link to it) of the blown insert and of the hole.
This is the rethread kit I'm this photo the three insert sizes small med lg.
You can buy them individually or with the threading kit.

Check eBay, sometimes people buy it, use what they need, then sell what's left.
yes I did go you e-bay and one used kit was priced only a fraction less than new. But the idea of buying new and selling after the job is done is not a bad one. Thanks again.
