I sent my carburetor in to be reconditioned and the company did not return the fitting for the fuel inlet. I took it to NAPA (were I took it originally) and they could not find a fitting that would fit. The carb is a two barrel and the only numbers I can find are 1.02 and 03TF-H. The engine is a 1964 F100 292. Does anyone know what fitting I should have or what the threat size I need to find?
That's a Motorcraft/Autolite 2100. 1970 (I think, either that or 1960) gotta any pics?
1.02" is the factory venturi size for all trucks in 1964, not a lot of high end but good torque on the low end for heavy loads and smooth idle. What size jets and power valve did they install? Pre-64 2100s are kind of nice in that they use standard thread size Holley jets. They don't use the rubber accelerator pump check valve like later versions, one less part affected by modern fuels.
Anyway here's one source with the part(s) you need, if you decide to go this route make sure it will fit before ordering, the correct size may be different depending on year of manufacture. Mike is pretty good about answering e-mail.
