1 Year Anniversary

On 11/30 I celebrated the one year anniversary of my SD ownership. I have enjoyed this truck tremendously. I have used it for work quite a bit and it has performed flawlessly. The only problem I had was the transmission recall that wasn't caught in time and I had to get the transmission rebuilt. That was about 20k miles ago and it's been fine ever since. Love the 6.7, LED's, all the cameras, heated and cooled seats, remote start, and the tailgate w/ remote release and the step (makes it much easier for us old fat guys). The only dislike is the moon (heat) roof. When I first got mine last year they were pretty rare but now you see them all over the place. I even saw a couple of 2 WD that weren't plain work trucks! I have towed a lot for my business. Trailer B (24' flat deck PJ gooseneck) is 4700# empty. Trailer A (24' flat deck All Pro, aka "Ghetto Trailer") is about 3000# empty. Trailer B has been to northern Indiana once and into southern North Carolina 4 times. How about you other guys that have had your SD's for a year or better? Likes, dislikes? It would be interesting to hear other people's experiences. Confession: This is the first forum I've ever joined. There is a lot of good and useful info on here, especially for people who are first time SD owners. Keep up the good work

I've only had my 2017 for 3 months now, so far loving it. My 2012 I had for 5 years and 135,000 miles and it was also a very good truck. Between having G.M's and a Dodge, the Ford is the best truck hands down so far.

Glad to hear the good news about your truck. Looks like a good bit of miles in a year but then I remember when I was putting on over 50K miles a year just on work trucks. Almost 8K on mine since mid March but bought it to mainly pull our camper so it sits a good bit.

Well, it is my work truck Paw. I would have had another 1200 miles on it if that damned hurricane hadn't screwed up our fishing trip to your back yard. I was really looking forward to that.
