Prime Time Crusader 325RES opinions?

Thinking of buying a new (to me) trailer, we were looking at units with 3 slides & island kitchen, then we saw this model, we really like the layout (more so than the island) & it's been well looked after. I've looked at some reviews & haven't found anything other than a few complaints about the fridge struggling in warmer climates, but I can live with that. So does anyone have any experience with this particular model they would like to share?

What year is the trailer?

If you are looking at one that has the L shaped kitchen like our Montana High Country 313RE has then I fully support it. We really do not like the island kitchen design and feel the L shape gives us so much more space that would simply be wasted with an island.

The more I look at that camper the more it looks like ours. We drove 1000 miles up to WI from GA to buy ours as they are hard to come by.

I don't have any information on the brand or history, but we love our camper layout.

Sorry it's a 2012, yes L shape sofa & entertainment centre across the rear. We like the way the L shape kitchen defines the kitchen area & the double refrigerator means plenty of cool beer!

You are dead on about that. We recently took the 313RE out for the first time a few weeks ago and had it out 21 days.

When packing, we filled an entire side of the fridge with beer, then still had room for burgers, dogs and steaks on the other side. It was great. In our travel trailer we had a single wide fridge, and had to keep a cooler with the beer in it.

The trailer looks great to me friend, good luck with your choice and keep us up to date.

Well this has been an expensive Easter! Just put a deposit down, should be collecting in a couple of weeks.

I didn’t want an egg anyway!

As mentioned before, that is nearly an identical layout to our 313RE and we love it. I am sure you will do the same. It is a lot of fun and even more room.

Looks like a nice rig. Now all you have to do is figure out how to transfer over your bike tray to the new rig. And buy all sorts of new accessories to go with it of course.

It already has a cycle rack, with a bit of strengthening I think that it would work, just need to work out if I have enough payload, the GVWR is close to the same as the old trailer but the dry weight is a lot higher.

A '14 Crusader 325RES was on our very short list until we were shown the Montana High Country for not too many more dollars(we had a deposit on one). It's a very nice 5er that has some real appeal.

Congratulations

I picked up the new trailer the other weekend, spent last weekend moving all our gear into the new unit, I'm missing the extra outside storage the the Crossroads had, but with a bit of creativity I've managed to fit everything in!

Next weekend we're going to stay in it at my storage place, just because we can!
