Rancho Suspension

I want to let everyone here know how pleased I am with Rancho Suspension.

I am the original owner of a 2008 F-350 4X4. In May of 2012, I replaced my factory shocks with 4 Rancho RS9000XL adjustable shocks. The impact of these new shocks were far superior to the OEM shocks they had replaced. With approx 20,000 miles, I began having oscillation issues with a front shock and Rancho replaced immediately and oscillation issue disappeared up until recently.

I have over 53,000 on the Rancho's now and recently run into the same issue with the other front shock. Regular customer service wasn't able to help since I didn't have the original receipt. Obviously, I was disappointed.

As a last ditch effort, I sent a private message to the Rancho Suspension account here on FTE. The next day I received a reply from Matt (Rancho Suspension) saying that he would look into the situation.

Today I received a phone call from Mike Sype of Rancho, and he is replacing not one, but both front shocks at no cost. He asked me about the suspension issue and suggested a few issues that may be compounding the situation.

Thanks to Mike and Matt, they have a Rancho customer for life!! Anybody willing to stand behind their product like this deserves our business. Make sure you patronize Rancho (Tenneco Automotive) and our other FTE sponsors. Sorry for the long thread.

Keep in mind we have a limited lifetime warranty. Keep that receipt. So do our our monotubes, the RS700MT.
Limited Lifetime Warranty / 90-Day Risk-Free Ride Offer

And very cool to see 100K out of shocks, manufacturers usually suggest replace at 50K or so. For a stabilizer if you have a "level" I like the dual monotube steering stabilizer. It "firms" up the front a nice amount.

I decided to keep my truck for a while longer, 250,000 miles its running strong and looks good.... I still have the ranch steering stabilizer on it... but i think I’m gonna have to replace it too.... getting some issues....I was surprised when replacing the shocks only one on the rear was real bad, the front ones were very easy to push down then wouldn’t return....and one of them had that little area where it was allowing fluid to pass through. It would hit a spot and go down real fast.....

I should have replaced sooner but yaaaaa, you know how it is.......

best of luck

I have the 9000 series on my truck and it made a huge difference over stock. I still haven't really played with the adjustments even when I tow or haul. Guess I'm too lazy to crawl under the truck.
