Won’t idle
I have a new to me 1988 F150 Lariat with the 302 motor and manual trans.
I just replaced the ignition module to solve the no spark issue but now it won’t stay running when I take my foot off the gas and allow the rpm to drop.
Does having the air cleaner hoses disconnected have an impact or what else do I need to check?

Your year truck is still Speed Density and has no mass air meter in the intake tube.
Therefore the motor will run without the tube in place.
What you have is an Intake Air Controller failure on the throttle body, for some reason.
