I have it and cant tell the difference. I drove two cclb with and without and couldnt notice a difference. It came with my tow technology bundle. I find the steering on this truck very heavy and slow compared to my 11. Perhaps my only complaint. Steering at slow speed is very heavy and difficult. I thought adaptive steering would compensate for this but it doesn’t. Maybe there is a setting Im not aware of to turn it on?

Maybe they made some modifications to it for the ‘18MY. The price increased from $685 to $1000 for the 18’s.

Yes, nearly a 50% increase! It better be good!

just something else that could break. I'm sure if it did fail you could still use it without. I ordered w/o it. perhaps if I got an 8ft dually it would be nice feature. not needed on a 7ft tremor. least not for 1000. I'll put that $ into my tonneau/rack stuff that cost over 2500

I'd much rather do without it. We aren't driving Lincolns, these are big trucks, steering is supposed to have feel to it. There's already too much un needed & unwanted crap on these trucks.

That's exactly what's happening when you press the tow/haul button , you get the feel back.
And why we must absolutely have a truck ride ?
Yes they are big and capable truck , but why they can't be luxurious and comfortable ? I never understood that argument.
Buy an XL and be happy.

I love my lariat, and it rides great. But it's not a luxury vehicle, it's a truck. I know it sounds crazy, yes I have leather seats, heat & cool & all that stuff, But it's still a truck. Even in a car I want some feel to the steering. Some may remember the Fords back in the 70's with the power steering you could just about turn with a feather. I personally like to DRIVE my vehicles. Theres too many gadgets these days that take that away from us.

I love mine and even at $1000 I would do it again. I drive a 2019 250 for my company truck and then when I get in my personal truck it feels like the truck is helping you make the turn. Best way I can describe it.
