Merry Christmas to me

Im about to hit 36,000 miles (Factory warranty) so I just ordered a EZ-Lynk tuner, AFE Stainless Exhaust (delete) and EGR delete kit. Merry Christmas to me!!!

Ok, I'm sure you know this, but engine is covered to 5yr/100K, and power train is 5yr/60K.

Yeah, I wanted to get over the "bumper to bumper" warranty hump before executing the delete.

Congrats! I made the same purchase today, almost. Which tunes did you go with?

I bought the EZ-Lynk, SOTF ****, PPEI tunes, Flo-pro 4" stainless race pipe and EGR block off plates. I'm retaining my factory exhaust tip to look stock.

Just hit 25k miles.

If you guys are doing the delete your self then pictures and progress reports would be appreciated.
I'm waiting for the 100K milestone then its my turn.

I am curious as to how you like the PPEI tunes when you get it all loaded up. I am not much fan of how Rudy's tunes shift

I'll certainly post a thread when I get it all installed. I haven't been able to find out much myself. EZ-lynk comes in Wednesday. If all goes to plan I'll install everything Saturday.

Executed my EGR/DPF delete. Pretty easy and took me about 5 hrs to complete. Best advise I received was to remove the exhaust hanger assemblies rather than trying to pull off the dampeners from under the truck. Another good piece of advise was to not drain the radiator, I used a rag to wrap the hoses and vice grips. Lost about 1 gal from the heater core because removing that hose from the firewall really sucked. Otherwise very smooth and well worth the effort.

Did mine his weekend. (I have 6,000km lol)
I did drain the rad about 3-4 gallons, from both sides.
That special tool to push hangers out of bushings is pretty handy. Took me a few hours start to finish on mine.
I went 5” flo pro (no muffler).
Ez lynk

it feels happier, lol. I got used to how quiet the truck was stock and now it seems so loud (throaty)! But it sounds great. Was my first time wrenching on a 6.7 so it was nice to get in there and have a good look at fords latest creation.

i have the switch as well but not going to install until tcm tuning is available.

No smoke for me, but I’m also just running stock power level.
