Powerstop Brake Kit anyone?

So I noticed my front pads were low and my parking brake needs adjusted so figured it was time for a brake upgrade while I have it all apart.

Anyone here familiar with or used and Power Stop brand stuff? I just ordered the Power Stop KC1915-36, they call it the Z-36 Extreme Truck & Tow/Severe Duty kit.

It includes front and rear drilled/slotted rotors, ceramic pads all the way around and all related hardware, and red powder-coated remanufactured and bench tested calipers. They advertise improved braking and reduced brake fade.

I'm also replacing what appears to be original rubber brake hoses with OEM replacement hoses while im there.

I paid about $550 for the complete kit, including new rubber hoses. Do you guys think it is worth it? Any experience, thoughts or opinions? I will be sure to update on how they perform.

P.S. I did price regular rotors, pads, hoses and calipers at advance auto. Surprisingly the price was not much less than going with the Power Stop Z-36 route.

I did recently get some Power Stop calipers and pads, no rotors here needed. They have been on for a couple of months now and they work and perform great. I don't think that I got the z36 pads but the next one down. They did chip at me for a bit, mostly because I didn't properly "break them in". I also just did some towing a few days ago (hauling some gravel in a dump trailer) and they didn't feel like they faded and stayed firm and controlled. I must mention that the trailer also had brakes which helped a lot with the loaded braking chores.

hope that helps

The step down lasted 8k Mile’s and two years.
I just installed the Z36 and like them.
Calipers appear sloppy though. I get a clunk.
