Hi guys so the owner before me put these black plastic bed rail covers on that are from summit racing. I want to put diamond plate bed rails on to match my tailgate cover and toolbox. The problem is that these plastic bed rails have a longer shoulder than the diamond bed rails (tried rails from summit), and have scratched up the side of my truck pretty bad, and all the diamond plate bedrails I've seen are not long enough to cover up the scratches. The length of the shoulder from the inside edge to the end of the shoulder is 5.5" inches long on the plastic rails, and from what I've seen the diamond rails are 5". Does anyone know of any bedrails that are long enough on the side to cover these up that can be bought online, maybe some that are fit from another truck(like chevy or dodge) or if anyone that has any for sale.
Oh and fyi I did see a 1997 f250 heavy duty regular cab longbed that was a 2wd XL model that had diamond plate bed rails that measured 6" from inside edge to the end of the shoulder and these bed rails were like a 1/4" thick. Idk if anyone knows anything about those. Thanks
