I have an 86 f250 4wd the headers I am trying to install came off a 75 300 i6. The issue I'm having is that they won't clear the starter. Any ideas would be a big help.
ill try this. its been decades i have not bothered with headers but i recall on one we actually cut and formed a bend in the tubing. there is a simplier way, if i could just remember... didnt we use a gear reduction starter smaller over all dimension.
those headers should fit .....hahahaha .
best solution, go with fords efi manifolds. its why i have a pile of 6 headers under the shop floor 3 or 4 sets. they did not work as well as the efi.
