Different or extended arm rests?

I have a 2002 Excursion Limited. Same front seats as 99 to 05? F250.

My only real peeve on the comfort of the vehicle is the miniature arm rests on the sides of the front seats.

Has anyone ever come out with extensions, replacement arm rests or replacement center console lid or cushions that work well to provide a better arm rest? The OEM ones are uncomfortable and barley long enough to just catch my elbow. Surely after all these years, someone built a better mousetrap for this problem along the way.

Even pointers to photos of custom built solutions would be helpful.

Thanks.

You can find aftermarket solutions at the bigger truck-stops. They make armrests that slide between the glass and the door panel.

Thanks but I guess I was not clear. Other side of the seat. Drivers right arm rest. My left arm rest on the door is fine.
