Dropping truck off tonight to get a faulty NOX sensor replaced. While its there they said they would turn on or modify settings in the cluster for me. Looking for suggestions. Below is my list so far.
Truck is a 2017 F350 6.7
1. Lower TPMS settings to 50psi
2. Turn on DPF% screen
3. Oil life percentage remaining.

What else am I missing?
Something I forgot was to see if the manual regen option was on mine. Also the DPF% screen is pretty vague, it goes in increments of 5 but its better than nothing. I fact check it with my CTS2.
Check out the ForScan thread, there's an Excel spreadsheet you can reference and choose options you may want to change. On mine, I did the following:
-enable "Bambi Mode", which allows the fog lamps to stay on with high beams
-disable all seat belt chimes
-disable double horn honk on exit, with engine running
-disable horn honk on lock
-enable "Police Mode" / Secure idle, which wont allow the truck to shift from Park without the key fob in the vehicle
-removed CD option from Sync
I talked to my dealer about lowering the TPMS setting and they wouldn't do it. They said it's a safety issue when towing or hauling. Curious to see what your dealership says.

Stewy: please explain the forscan thread. Does each Ford PS have access to that and if so how? Are you referring to data from the Edge?
I'm new to diesels and will be ordering soon. I've seen many refer to the forscan and was hoping I could figure it out on my own, but no luck so far.
Let us know how you do, I was only able to have them enable DPF%Soot in hte IDS, there is no manual regen unless it was ordered.
Also, they will not modify TPMS PSI below factory, this has to be done in Forescan.
Dealer cant activate oil life % remaining either, need Forscan running, or another monitor on the diesel such as Forscan Lite, monitoring PDIs or Dashboss If you are in the US, you can generate a vehicle Health report in FordPAss and see this but the steps are a bit crazy to get a report.
I am in the market for some Mods with forscan, Here in ontario Canada i found someone down the highway that will alter and send a backup file to me, Looking at Daytime running lights changed to parking or fogs
Honk delete.
Still looking for more. Spreadsheet listed here is a good resource
He's charging me about 30 to do two or three changes.
Guess my point here is i am not at this point willing to learn and modify my own, I dont see it as a ongoing thing, i may be wrong.

I made these changes using the OBDLINK MX Bluetooth adapter off Amazon, along with the ForScan software. There's a thread (we should make it a sticky) that has the instructions, as well as a Google drive hosted Excel file housing an up to date listing of parameters that others have figured out.

I like the ability to tweak as I go, so that's why I opted for my own adapter and downloaded ForScan onto my laptop. Agree, if you know now what you want changed, have him do it for $30. The changes you're talking about takes literally 5-10 mins, maybe 20 for a first timer. Start to finish, it took me about 30 mins to do all mine, half of which was spent getting my laptop to "get along" with the BT adapter.

Add the parking lights to the DRLs and you’ll get tail lights, too.

Mine wouldn't make the change either, although I only spoke with the service writer.

Thanks. I see the OBDLINK MX does not support the iPhone.
Do you know what does?
