This 8' bed is in overall good condition, depending on your intended use. The overall condition of the bed itself is good; it can be used as is. But it needs work if you wanna make it pretty.

Mounting holes will not match up to my '74 hiboy, so I believe it came off a Ford pickup with a rear frame width of 38", which I think would be Ford pickup years 73-79 2WD, 73-79 F100 4WD, and 77&1/2-79 4WD. Have all the trim (the years have diminished the sheen of course), tail light housings are complete, side light housings are complete. Have all or most of the screws, etc., to put it back together but the bolts that nail the bed to the frame are pretty nasty. The storage box is in good condition as well as the door. May be able to find the key, but if it's not with all the bits that go with the bed it's lost.

There are well over 20 holes that have been drilled into the bed and top rail. God knows why. There is some minor rust through at the bottom, front of the bed. There is a very "nice" dent on the side, rear, which you can see in one of the pics. It's an easy body shop fix if you're looking for a restoration part. There was some rust through in a couple cross members under the bed but I cut it out and welded in new material. Underside is in good condition.

$175 or make a reasonable offer and you'll get it, along with the tailgate which I think is a '77, is not in the pics but is in overall good condition.

shame you wont ship here in canada ontario rust is everywhere its hard to find a bed short of driving 5000miles to cali it wouldnt be worth the time what u spend to get there shame
